Hoptown will face the Henderson County/Crittenden County winner.

Caldwell hung close thru the first half. I think they were only down 6. But the press and the traps quickly built it up to a 20 point lead. Caldwell would make a dent into the lead only to see Hoptown push it back to 20.

Does anyone think Hoptown and Trigg County have an advantage over Henderson/Crittenden and Madisonville/Webster County? At first I didn't think so but the more I think about it maybe they do. If one of them can jump out to a big lead and rest the starters maybe not but if the games are close then maybe alittle advantage.

Eli Pepper ends his high school career with a triple double. Bright future for Eli at Lipscomb.

I would have thought so for Hoptown, but Matlock played almost the entire 3rd and 4th quarters.

I definitely think so.

We are really proud of Eli and look forward to watching him continue his basketball career at Lipscomb.

I am no expert but as a Coach, I would like to have the extra day to prepare and rest. I think it is an advantage. Trigg has already beaten Webster once this year. The Tigers and Colonels should be one heck of a game. I saw the games last night and Eli Pepper was a monster, no doubt the best player on the court LAST night.
