Camels came out looking well rested. CC was led by Senior Blake Losey with 6 points in the first qtr taking the lead to 13-4 after 1. CC kept up the pace going into half up 32-13. Losey led all first half scorers with 12. BC didn't quit after the first half however CC was just too much for them to handle. McGoveny did a good job of keeping the game at CC pace and Wilson and Jackson both had some very convincing dunks.

 

CC was led by Losey with a game-high 18 points. BC's leading scorer was Baker with 13.

 

CC will face the winner of the Pendelton Co/ Augusta game on Mon at 6pm at The Fieldhouse

A bit of rust for both squads coming out of the gate, but ultimately way too much Campbell for Bourbon to handle. To their credit, they didn't lay down, but this one was for all intents and purposes over after the first quarter. Solid game from Losey and McGovney was the floor general he always is. Sexton had a hard time getting untracked and the Colonels were outmatched by Wilson inside. I thought Blackburn had a nice game, but went long stretches without seeing the floor.

Campbell's defense was really strong, which I think is vital for them. When they are getting it done defensively, they're tough to beat.

 

Bourbon just couldn't get anything going, but kudos to those kids for getting to this point. They made it farther than almost all of us expected.
