I think you are correct gandp. Once people in the south end of Campbell co realize a trip to the playoffs and a possible run at a state championship is more viable at 1a Brossart than 6a Campbell Co, and is equal to the success at NCC, the program should flourish. Will it happen over night?, no, only time will tell.

Brossart football's competition is not and never will be NCC or Campbell Co. It is Brossart Soccer and Brossart Basketball.

I think I said in my post it's not going to happen over night. When people are blind to their competition they wake up one day and say "how'd that happen"? It only takes one class to change momentum. There's a lot of new development in the south end of the county and one day Alexandria will be the biggest city in Campbell Co, which is going to benefit the southern schools. I hope NCC continues their success but to think Brossart can't be successful is blind.

I was concerned about the MS feeder team (Colts) not having enough players, with the talented bunch of to be Freshman moving up, but have heard there has been some good numbers showing interest for this next season.

Interesting a Berne Union insider posted this (below) yesterday on an Ohio site. So still a discrepancy on who Brossart is playing 8/28.

 

To add to the craziness, I just got done talking to one of Berne Union's football coaches today and he said they're playing Brossart from Kentucky.

Berne Union's schedule today on OHSAA site now has dropped the Brossart game. Should not have doubted the posters in this thread!
