It was posted on the "Open Jobs" thread that Russell is moving forward with finding a new head coach. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top.

 

With this hire coming so soon, it would make you believe it is somebody familiar with Russell Basketball. Any ideas?

@RussellSports: RHS has named Jason Strader as new head boys basketball coach. Official introduction on Tuesday, March 17 at RHS at 4pm

I'm a little surprised Russell didn't go with a veteran head coach. I thought after going with a veteran football coach last year, they might try the same philosophy.
