I hate that. One of the few rarely used gadget plays that I enjoyed seeing once in a blue moon! Throw the big guys a bone every once in a while.

Yes, you are correct. Rock also had a guard do it this year as well and it was called back for holding. Leger, I think scored once anyway, when he lined up as Fullback a couple of plays on goaline.

I'm not big on trick plays but this is one I liked. The KHSAA is not mandated to follow the National Federation of State High School Associations. Usually they go along. Often they break a rule in slowly or modify it. Does anyone know if it has been adopted by the KHSAA yet? I like the play as long as the offical is notified. If they know its going to happen how can it be a burden. Just like the NFL, they are trying to dull down the game.:fight:

What if the pass is thrown backwards? EX: A team is one the 5 yd line (close to scoring) and the tackle cathes the ball on the 7yd line (QB throws the ball backwards to him)? This is not a forward pass.

That's what I was referring to (I should have stated it had to be BACKWARDS) Had it done against me a few years back...totally legal I was told.

Levar Weston played LG last season and scored two TD's. Hoptown QB would fake Toss Sweep to the right and Levar would counter-step around him and it nobody knew he had the ball untill it was to laste. He scored one from 43 yards out.
