Inside the 10th Region (2-16-15)

But many people didn't consider Augusta to be that much of an underdog and we all knew how Brent Bach reacts when it's Mason County across the jersey. He should have beaten them 3 years in a row. Plus last year they gave MoCo all they wanted and then some in the Regional Semi-Final game. Augusta had plenty of talent and one heckuva coach which is why they won 2 of the 3 years.

But another game that might be more on the level you're speaking would be the Pendleton Co-Mason Co region semi-final game.

It could, see I don't remember how much or if Mason Co won the regular season game. Last years Mason Augusta game I could remember. Why I posted it. Don't see how giving that game as a example is that big of a deal.....:idunno:

I'm not speaking of any regular season games here. Everything I'm speaking of is in the post season. :sssh:

An appropriate example. 2011 season. Mason County won the regular-season game by 25. At Pendleton.

Pendleton showed more heart than Mason County in the regional semi, winning by a couple of baskets. At The Fieldhouse.

Must have been away-court advantage. Or whatever it's called.

As you stated that was 2011. IMO the 2014 was most recent and more appropriate.....why I gave it.

Use the 11th Region as a measuring stick:

throw out games prior to January 15th...tell me where they are now!

4-6. Including a 1-point loss by Harrison to Henry Clay.

Sounds pretty even to me.

It could have even favored the 10th if the weather was well this week. Mason County had Woodford coming to the Fieldhouse Saturday night, but then again GRC is traveling to Lex Cath. So it is realistically even. Very interesting stats though, either the 10th isn't as weak as everyone thought or the 11th down too. Could argue either one.

Wouldn't it be great if GRC beats LexCath on Friday?

17-16 in favor of the 10th.

That is correct.

Even-steven.

Wouldn't bother me one bit.

It would be a great boost to all teams in the 10th Region.
