How many 3's did ncc hit and what was there 3 point shooting percentage. I was told they but over 10 3's and only missed a couple Wow!

This game went back and forth for the whole 2nd half. NCC frustrated SK by controlling the tempo with patient offense and a 3-2 zone. SK turned over NCC about 4 times late and that was the difference.

This was such a good game, it needs two threads!

Sk really needed to use their size and strength advantage in this one and didnt. It was mind blowing. Stowers was yelling about it during a timeout but didnt happen. So much more size and strength compared to the Breds it was silly. SK played poor for 3 and a half quarters per their usually play but come up with a few big turnovers late. The Breds can really really shoot the 3 well. #25 and #3 for NewCath can shoot the lights out. 11 their point guard controlled the tempo for the Breds and is and is a solid player created a ton of shots for herself but needs to finish better. The Breds staff runs good sets to get their shooters open and are well coached team. SK looked sluggish tonight but did enough to keep it close then create turnovers for the win. Keep working and use your size please!!!!!!!!

10 sounds about right. A couple were gimmes because of lack of D but many well behind the line with hand in face. One went in high off the glass but that's going to happen when you jack that many.

 

NCC offense was well run, it never stops. They beat SK on several back door cuts. Interesting part was the pseudo walking screens which helped shooters get some space. Well executed; do they ever run into problems getting moving screens called? They didn't tonight but I could see it happening. NCC seemed to tighten up on SK pressure as they were tying to milk the clock.

 

I could definitely see NCC in the 9th mix if they shoot like that. NKU backdrop a little different than dark confines on the hill though.

 

Great effort by both teams and fun game to watch.

Nice win by the Lady Pioneers. Must have made some nice defensive plays to come back late. Tough loss for the Breds. Sounds like they had it under control and then struggled at the very end to tie it up and put a bow on it.

Keep in mind NCC was missing 1 starter, their biggest girl who is a good rebounder and a key role player off the bench, still have to take care of the ball when you have the game in hand.

Sorry, KentuckyJoe. Last night I merged two threads. I did not realize that there were 3 threads on this game. Merged now.

Does anyone know the field goal percentage for 3's NCC shot? It had to be way up there.

 

Pretty impressive for SK to pull this one out with NCC shooting the way they did. Kudo's to NCC, their players made some very nice plays and their coaching staff really uses an offense that fits their team well.
