Depends on what high school teams match up with what college teams. Are you playing with a shot clock? A shot clock would favor most college teams. Oak Hill, DeMatha, and other elite high school programs could knock off some college level teams and even challenge some D1 programs.

 

Football would be a whole different psynario. Texas and Florida high school programs are the elites. However, none would challenge any D1 programs.

Oak Hill is a team I would not consider in this equation, since they are truthfully only a high school team in name. They are a prep school that basically recruits players from across the nation.

According to some of the posters, some schools in KY fall into the same category as Oak Hill.

The state of Virginia must not consider them a High School, since they dont compete for a state championship.

 

If you openly recruit your players, I believe you lose the status as a High School in most peoples eyes.

Im not going to deny that. But they are high school age and play against high school teams and Oak Hill is a team and your question is Do you believe a high school team can beat a college team. Hey you started this

When OJ and Bill were soph's though. Next year when their Seniors i gurantee they can beat most D-2 and D-3 teams.
