I'm just saying that being a 20 year old who is probably drinking underage in a place you aren't supposed to be, then allegedly being an instigator in a fight... those aren't the kind of things that make it smart for you to go press charges when you get hit (even if the response was disproportionate and the way you were hit was dangerous). I'd analogize it to being a situation like one where someone calls the police because a drug dealer ripped them off and stole $100. Yes, the drug dealer shouldn't steal, but the victim will have lots of explaining to do otherwise.
April 9, 201511 yr If I remember correctly, one poster seemed pretty adamant that Barker would pursue charges. I guess they changed their mind... Don't know the poster you are speaking of but will take your word for it. In my opinion, given the circumstances, that a decision by each party not to press charges once they'd had some time to cool off and think it out was probably a good thing for each.

No one went to a dorm looking for a fight except the EKU players. The EKU police are coming to speak with Barker tomorrow to get his statement about the Telford Hall incident and whether or not he wants to pursue charges. This was a straight out assault. From earlier in this thread.

Tough to see exactly what happens, but it appears one of the UK guys runs into the chick the EKU player was talking to, he didn't appreciate it, shoved the guy and it escalated very quickly from there. Looked like 3-4 guys were swinging at the EKU guy at once.
