Josh Gordon is a Moron

As to the randomness, they would definitely never tell you a day in advance for alcohol. I've had clients who've been subject to them and a family member who is a probation/parole officer.

Usually you have to give the probation/parole officer your schedule at least a week in advance (i.e., if there are any reasons you'll be out of town or can't make it in should you be subject to a random test that day, then you have to have it approved in advance, that way you can't "happen" to not make it in that day if you were called in and wouldn't show clean).

After that, you call in each day and find out if you have to go in or not. If you call in and get a "yes", then you have to be in within a certain time to take your test, otherwise it's a fail. You definitely wouldn't know very far in advance, or at least far enough in advance to beat the test.

An Open Letter to Charles Barkley & Co. - By Josh Gordon

Maybe it's just me, but all I'm seeing in there are excuses after excuses.

Yes. Gordon (PR team) did nothing but provide excuses. The best part is when he talks about how he seldom drinks and people will attest to that, yet on the plane ride - which just happened to be the last time he put alcohol in his body in forever - he had two drinks and two beers. No, Josh. People do not know the full you or why you have done certain things. But do not blame Charles Barkley, Cris Carter, and Stephen A. Smith for questioning your decision making when your decision making has sucked.
