... Naw, if we were going to use Photoshop I'd have made Francie's nose bigger and her eyes crossed...

How appropriate that you wore your "Darwin" shirt, while providing proof positive that mutations aren't always for the better ... :thumb:

And by the way, I want everyone to know that he made me shave just before we took the picture - he said that my "mustache" was hiding my new dental work....

Frances

I agree, but who's the guy in the "Road Kill Grill" shirt? :sssh:

Wow! You went from one extreme to the other. One minute, you're kissing babies, the next, you're lobbing grenades at our prom photos.

I'm still voting for you.

Frances

I haven't actually voted yet, but I'll say that the only way this baby stays open for an entire week is if the internet goes down for the next six days....

Frances

Ok, this is just too silly for a serious basketball internet thread that the whole world has access too! Lets get back to some real conversation!

Did you hear about the kid that started at Rose Hill, transferred to Huntington High, was offered a pair of tennis shoes to come back to Rose Hill, the kid wanted to go to Ashland, was turned down because they dont take transfers, but then since he was from West Virginia (now) they used the

"West Virginia is ok" Loophole pending the entrance (dunk) exam? (but he would have to move)

Is this about the point the thread usually gets shut down?

(after scooter bob throws in something venomous):D

sorry I dont have any pictures, Fastbreak stole my Photoshop:scared:

WOW!! That's a pretty convoluted path for a kid to take to get to his high school!!

Who would do something that outrageous with their kid(s)?

Frances

Unfortunately Franny my dear, there are lots of adults who are so invested in their kids lives that they are always looking for an "in." Many start way back in Little League and grade school moving their child from team to team, school to school.

I say we keep this one alive boys, no matter how hard some try to stir the pot. Like spindoc said its the off season, its Spring the flowers are blooming and we have more daylight. I saw David Blaine stand inside a block of ice for 24 hours surely I can get along with you bozos for a week.

Its also similar to folks who can't resist adding subtle digs and name-calling most of the time in an effort to antagonize others

OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH! I just had a visual image of offspring!

Hey Mojo, relax baby, it's AAU season, Ashland has the summer off. Relax!

I am relaxed. It seems as though a thread could get started about any team in the 16th turns into talk about Ashland or Rose Hill. I can be reading a thread and get interested in it and then try to post and its closed. It gets old boys.

nWo, with all due respect Sir, I think the topic of this thread is to see how long a Rose Hill-Ashland thread can avoid total meltdown. In that regard, a little humor may prolong the inevitable... :thumb:

That was why I put the :D face at the end of my post. I was just joking. Trying to put some humor in the thread.

I guess it didn't work.

Woody it's called a joke. Good natured at that. I know GIAT personally and get along with him just fine. Frances and I have know each other for many a year. We may disagree on some matters but in the end most of us realize it is a sporting event, a high school sporting event.

So enjoy this lighter moment.

Nowhere in my official “BGP Moderator’s Kit” (which included a really nifty decoder ring) does it instruct me to be “uninvolved” or “unbiased.” In fact, an uninvolved moderator is a moderator that won’t be moderating very long.

One of the burdens of being a moderator is the need to be as “involved” as possible. That means having a responsibility to read as many posts and threads as possible, including the many dull and boring ones in which we have no personal interest.

A moderator is not expected to be to be “unbiased” but they are expected to follow the rules just like every member of BGP is expected to do.:thumb:

So you got really interested in this thread, and then got disapointed?

Darn, I hate it when that happens to me too!

And your relaxed?

Great opportunity to run off some hard to find copies of pictures of Frances and Fast Break, is it true that was the night you all double dated with Scooter Bob and Petie?:jump:
