I cannot like this enough. This is possibly the biggest issue facing athletics,academics, and society in general. Just replace the word Coach with the word Teacher. Little Johnny never does anything wrong. It's the teacher/coaches fault.

Scheduling might be the most underrated aspect of it all, especially since the move to 7 classes.

 

No longer do you have the county next to you (or two), who in 4 classes and a 7-9 team district....you played for homecoming every year. Always had those "Gimmie" games or two, or more, that there was noway out of for the opposing teams.

 

Enter 6 classes....4 and even 3 team districts (absolute dumbest crock of you know what I've ever heard of) & now finding people (counties with the same exact demographics as you) to play you just got that much harder.
