Tom Larkey is out at Harlan County (Updated Title)

Featured Replies

If Tom Larkey can be fired in a two line email then nobody is safe these days. That's craziness. For what he's done and for the thousands of young men he has coacehd and mentored Tom Larkey deserved better.

Like others have said, I hope his career doesn't end this way.

Larkey has always been respected in victory and defeat. This changes nothing. He is solid as a "rock". Good Luck coach.

If I'm the new guy...I don't know that I could get over the fact that "they let Tom Larkey go after just one bad year. What will they do to me after any type of bump in the road?!"

Someone posted on Facebook or Twitter that it's a political move and the thing they speculated was an assistant coach who has family on the school board and a few of the parents who think they know it all are responsible for this and trying to get the job. Talk about a knife in the back and stake to the heart

That's some crazy stuff.
