An acceptable reason for running up a score?

Featured Replies

The title of the thread clearly indicates intent to humiliate an opponent. Perhaps you should take the HHS lens off and focus on that!

So someone who is not Coach Richey, not a member of her staff, not a player on the team and not even a parent of a player on the team titles the thread and that shows intent by HHS? That's stretching it a bit.

Right...

Maybe it's the anti-Highlands lens that is causing you such heartburn

Good thing it isn't the team in California or they'd go bankrupt.

Wow!! First, do you see the question mark at the end of the sentence. It was a question!!! Not a statement! Secondly, your answer is absolutely pathetic no matter how the thread was interpreted. No one should EVER use harm or kids to get revenge on an opposing coach. EVER!!!! If you are the opposing coach and you feel the other coach intentionally runs the score up on you, then you handle it with a conversation after the contest is over! Period!!!

Say this was done with it not being said before hand and HHS wins the game by 40 all that would be said was how well the Birds performed.

It was a rhetorical question aimed at poking fun at the other threads on here about teams running up scores for absolutely no reason...

I know what you meant. Of course, I'm not looking for reasons to bash the Birds. Darn these glasses!

You never know who speaks for the program and who does not. Glad to see an ill kid gets so much community support. I've had the experience of a near fatal illness to a child.
