What a ball game. With 3:50 in game Green was called for a foul which made his 4th. He tied up Combs,neither player would let go of the ball and tumbled out of bounds under the basket. A double T was called on both players. This made Green's 5th foul. That really hurt GRC him not playing the end of the game. GRC had only scored 1 point in the 4th quarter for almost 4 minutes. We couldn't buy a basket. Combs did a good job inside and blocked several shots. The best block of the night was when King blocked one of Combs shots. Combs MUCH bigger and taller than King. King is a warrior on both ends of the court.

 

Who is #10 for MoCo. Real nice player,man he is quick. Heard he was a better soccer player.

 

Huge crowd today. B-ball dosn't get any better than tonight game. Congrats to MoCo on a huge district win.

It was a great atmosphere in Winchester tonight. Rivalry games always bring a big crowd and great feeling in the gym. Congrats to MoCo on getting the win.

I think Fuller is the best PG in the region.

 

GRC had 21 more attempts from the field than Montgomery Co. I have no idea how that happened.

 

This was the best the Indians have done at getting the ball inside to Combs. He scored several points in the post and Fuller did a great job of getting to the basket in the first half which helped get them a 2 point lead going into the half, despite only shooting 2-8 from 3 in the first two frames.

 

GRC couldn't hit anything between the first couple minutes of the first half and the last minute of the game. They hit their first 3 shots, and also scored 3 baskets (9 points) in the last minute of the game, but in between there it was tough for GRC to get anything to go down.
