This was a very good game. Game of runs. Holmes jumped out front early. Cooper came back and took the lead. Holmes battled back and held off Cooper at the end. Very fun game to watch. Holmes had some really nice dunks in the game. I thought it was a very entertaining game to watch!

Dante isn't as athletic as Aaron but he's longer...he will be a good one for Cooper over the next couple years. Him, Kunkel, and McNeil in the same back court is going to be a lot of fun to watch.

1st qtr: Sean McNeil almost made Jordan Daniels of Holmes fall. Nice hesitation move bringing the ball up the court then goes and scores on reverse lay up.

Should have been goal tending. I was sitting right there...either way it was a great game except the last 2 minutes when Cooper seamed to run out of gas.

 

Don't know why Cooper went away from getting the ball to Hathorn and Dickerson in the second half. Seamed like they were forcing shots instead of using the inside out game they had success with in the second quarter. Thought Dickerson had a nice game 11 points had some nice assists and rebounds. Boy has a nice stroke from the 3 point line. Also used nice ball fakes to draw some fouls underneath.

 

Holmes has a very nice team. This was my first chance to see them.

Sean makes up for any lack of superior quickness like a like of true skilled players. He uses ball fakes and the dribble to get separation.

Wonder if Clyde still think Avery isn't a top 10 talent after seeing him again last night....one could argue he was the best "big man" on the court in all 3 games last night.

 

(Not saying he is better than McDonald or Weyer...simply saying he looked the best out of all the "bigs" who played last night)

Add that he can absolutely knock it down from outside as well as off the dribble and he is one of the tougher kids to defend in this region for his position. (2/3)

Cooper fans on twitter are telling me it was a goaltend, but I agree it was a nice block. Times it perfect. Very close, but refs made the right (no) call.
