Rank NFL Open Coaching Jobs

Featured Replies

Let's look at the Bengals in a different way and see what our thoughts are about the team. Here is a list of current NFL head coaching jobs that are open:

Atlanta

Buffalo

Chicago

NY Jets

San Francisco

Let's add the Bengals to that list and rank those jobs. How would you rank the job openings if you were looking to be the new head coach among those teams and the Bengals? If possible, toss aside the Mike Brown issue. I want to know how everyone ranks these teams based on the talent on the roster.

1 Buffalo

2 San Francisco

3 NY Jets

4 Atlanta

5 Cincy

6 Chicago

San Francisco (although they are getting really old and fast)

Buffalo has a lot of really good young talent

Cincy

Atlanta

Chicago

Jets

San Francisco

Chicago

NYJ

Atlanta

Cincinnati

Buffalo

Would have Atlanta at the top. They are the only team with a solid QB in place

SF- most talent

Atlanta- QB and offensive weapons

Buffalo- Defense and decent draft pick

Jets- High draft pick, defensive front 7, most cap room

Chicago- Old players, money tied up, dumpster fire!

I agree with the majority above and rank San Francisco #1. I see Buffalo and the Jets as very similar to Cincinnati. Atlanta and Chicago have bad defenses so that puts them behind Cincinnati.

Atlanta (only one with decent QB, it matters)

Buffalo (Top 5 defense, only need a QB)

SF (QB ?, Defense will lose some players due to character)

Chicago ( Too old and schizo QB)

NYJ (no offensive talent and defense will not be as good without Ryan)

1 San Francisco - Down year this year, but talent to make the super bowl

2 Cincy - Just need something to get them over the top.

3 Atlanta - In some disarray right now but could easily win the division next year. Good QB.

4 Buffalo - Good defense. QB situation is a mess.

5 Chicago - Tons of talent on the offensive side, aging defense.

6 NYJ - The whole organization is a mess.

Just wondering about those who list Atlanta as having the only decent QB. While this year was a bit off prior years, why do you think Kaepernick is not a decent QB? He's still young and has 4 overall solid years. I would think SF is easily the top job.
