December 30, 201411 yr Just went to half time. ND up 21-14. Anyone else think LSU just got hosed on that call. Looked like a clear obvious TD to me.
December 30, 201411 yr Just went to half time. ND up 21-14. Anyone else think LSU just got hosed on that call. Looked like a clear obvious TD to me. I think it was a touchdown, but I agree with the call. There just wasn't enough evidence to overturn the original call.
December 30, 201411 yr It's one of the common problems with the replay, though understandable. Logic will tell you he obviously got in. But if they can't see it all clearly, they can't overturn.
December 30, 201411 yr Author It's one of the common problems with the replay, though understandable. Logic will tell you he obviously got in. But if they can't see it all clearly, they can't overturn. They can look at every angle. Knee was not down. Ball broke plane. What's hard about that?
December 30, 201411 yr Author Of course I think Les Miles is stupid for not getting his 3. Especially when you get the ball to start the half.
December 30, 201411 yr I have no use for either team. But LSU got hosed by the refs on the field who made the wrong call in the first place. Edited December 30, 201411 yr by mcpapa
December 30, 201411 yr The whole not enough evidence to overturn is a bunch of bull. 99.9% of the time they have more evidence through replay than the referee on the field has live. Make a determination and do your best to get the call right. BTW I am rooting for ND, I just thought they totally wussed out on that call.
December 30, 201411 yr Author I have no use for Notre Dame. But they got hosed by the refs on the field who made the wrong call in the first place. Notre Dame hosed. Isn't that an oxymoron?
December 30, 201411 yr Notre Dame hosed. Isn't that an oxymoron? Fixed the original quote. Realized my mistake after watching LSU score on a long run just now; had to run back to the computer to see if anyone caught my error before I could correct it. Alas. Edited December 30, 201411 yr by mcpapa
