Class of the Commonwealth 2014

Featured Replies

Sindelar and Harris head the class. Only 3 of the 22 from Jefferson County.

Need to get more than 2 of these guys in blue and white next year.

No Alex Veneman?

Mr. Football finalist but LHL doesn't think he is even one of the state's top 22 Seniors.

Personally I think the reality is in between. Don't think he should be a Mr. Football finalists but there is no doubt whatsoever he should have been on this list.

Which of those 22 is Veneman better than?

Easy to say he deserves a spot (and probably does).

But a lot harder to say which kid you would take off. Or why one of the kids on the list does NOT deserve a spot.

Even if you only take off one, you're saying Veneman was No. 22 (and not a lot higher, which some people believe he should be). In that case, you'd have to "out" several kids who you would put Veneman over. That ain't easy.

Personally, I have no idea where to put him.

However, that's a pretty decent list.

I did see an offensive lineman on the list.

Are there really no Simon Kenton kids on the list? After hearing all about them this past year, I expected there to be multiple players on the list.

Congrats to Williamsburg's Skyler Griffith, well deserved recognition for this young man...
