December 15, 201411 yr Watching Johnny Footballs press conference just now in NFL network was awesome lol. The best part is they left the press conference in mid sentence and the guy on NFL network says "sorry Hohnny but you didn't play well enough to finish that sentence" lol
December 15, 201411 yr Early prediction the Bengals lose next week. Then they go on a revenge tour and keep beating teams that drilled them the first time lol. They will beat the steelers to end the season and go in as a wild card. Will go beat Indy, and then go beat Denver, then new england and then beat Green bay in the super bowl lol. I know that is wishful thinking lol. If they beat the Steelers they win the division, not wildcard.
December 15, 201411 yr Its simple if the bengals win won more game they clinch a playoff spot. If the Bengals win one more and steelers and ravens lose one more then bengals clinch the division. If chargers, chiefs, and bills lose next week then Bengals clinch a playoff spot without even having to win another game. With how the Bengals are playing this year they may be better off playing on the road as a wild card team than at home as division leader.
December 15, 201411 yr Gresham upset because Lapham called him out for not playing today. Or ... is Gresham upset because he took the day off and may have lost his job to Hewitt? I like Hewitt, he brings another element to the offense. Gresham would have never made that catch, his arms won't extend that long. Two high picks wasted on TEs who don't produce.

Two high picks wasted on TEs who don't produce. Hewitt makes Gresham expendable with his upcoming free agency. Bengals would sign him at an average TE price, but he will probably get more on the open market. Eifert is really the "tough luck" guy. They have a couple of years to see what he can do if he stays healthy. They will need to draft a developmental guy in mid to late rounds.
December 15, 201411 yr If they beat the Steelers they win the division, not wildcard. Not true. Say the Bengals lose to the Broncos but beat the Steelers they would not win the division unless the Ravens lose a game. The Ravens would have a better record than us if the Ravens win out and we lose one.
December 15, 201411 yr Author Not true. Say the Bengals lose to the Broncos but beat the Steelers they would not win the division unless the Ravens lose a game. The Ravens would have a better record than us if the Ravens win out and we lose one. And the Ravens are most likely going to win out.

I could be wrong, however I believe you were the one who I was in a disagreement with earlier in the year over the running back spot. Do you see now why this offense is better off with Hill as the primary back? I know you were big on the mismatch problems Gio brings. However Hill brings a strong power running threat, who can break big runs and can also catch out of the backfield. This offense with a guy like Hill as the main guy is better, and then using Gio like last year does add another threat. I said it when he was drafted, and I will say it again. Jeremy Hill reminds me of Corey Dillon in a lot of ways.
December 15, 201411 yr And the Ravens are most likely going to win out. Well next week at the Texans will be a tough game for them. However the Texans may have to start a rookie QB, so it wouldn't be as hard. However I can easily see this being a game the Ravens lose. Quite honestly I think the Browns will beat the Ravens the last game of the year. I think that last game of the year will be Johnny Footballs coming out party and he will lead them to a big win over the Ravens and go into the off season with a positive note for the Browns.

Now what do you want some big ol' trophy or a lunch at Skyline because you might be right a couple of times.

Now what do you want some big ol' trophy or a lunch at Skyline because you might be right a couple of times. I would love a trophy actually! I just know you didn't seem to be that big of a fan of Hill early. So I was just curious of what you thought of him now, that's all. Thats why we discussed it earlier in the year because I thought he was showing the signs of how good he could be. So I just curious if you opinion had changed. At the end of the day we have two very good running backs.
