The difference is that when the previous Attorney General and IRS would advise white ministers it wasn't newsworthy or frowned upon.

There inlies the question, did a white attorney general in recent times do this? If so then what Eric Holder did is fine, if not then thats where I think it causes problems with one race seeing it as a special treatment or discrimination.

Even so the IRS doing this and going after Tea Party or other conservatives isnt right.

Mark Filip, I googled him for help with white chuches and voting. Nothing pops up.

I quit looking because I cant find where it has been done, now whether or not it made new is another thing, but if it happened Im sure it would have.

Since when is it news when white people in power help white people in power? Why would it be newsworthy?

 

Even if they did help any churches why is it so bad to tell people how to follow the law?

Nothing wrong with it. But there is more that could have been done.

It would be newsworthy because the DEMS would be crying race card and they control the media.

 

If they helped churches for the right reason, then yes. But they didnt, they did it strictly for politcal agenda and thats it. you cant tell me that these churches need help like that, it was to help the polical agenda and thats it.

That is why it bothers me.

 

I dont recall them going to a white church and doing it, why not? If they did I'm sure it would be great press to show racial equality, and the media would have been all over that to help Obama Adm look even better. but I never saw it.

Unfortunately, politics on both sides of the aisle (clever, no?) being brought into churches isn't anything new.

I have a hard time thinking that the black churches dont have some person in there that understands the rules of this stuff. Especially the big type churches, Im sure the ones Holder went to arent some rural church like mine.

 

I just dont like how the IRS is allowed in there to help but turn around and have this huge scandal on tea party and conservative groups. Which are mostly white Im guessing.

 

Its not the blacks helping the blacks, its the whole arrogance and contradiction of it all by the gov and IRS.

 

I know how slavery is brought up a lot, but I nor any generation in my family I know of ever owned a slave. How can I be sorry for something I never did or know anyone who ever did it.

I do think the general thought by most whites is slavery was a long time ago and no one alive now had anything to do with it, so lets move on and quit talking about it. Thats my guess.

 

I also had no life during the civil rights things in America from 1970s down, so I really have no experience with it, but I never had anything to do with being a white racist store owner who didnt serve blacks because its before my time, I know a lot are still alive and feel resentment (Hank Aaron) but it aint me, I didnt do it and had no control over it, so Hank shouldnt feel that way about me.

 

I also dont think Obama should open his mouth about the things that have happened.

 

If Im POTUS and a black guy kills a white guy or vice versa, I dont address it, I have bigger issues like killing terrorist and solving world problems. Those killings are going to happen everyday, because a different color kills a different color dont make it racist.

 

I dont know why the hell everyone cant just get along, our blood is same color (blue) and everyone has enough sense to stop the stupid stuff if they want to.
