Team numbers ?

Featured Replies

IM guessing the reason for moving up is the estimated growth at the school will put Cooper at 6A in a few years anyway.

They return a lot next year from the largest roster to date for them. Around 70 this past season so I would expect it to go up a little next year.

I know they had 70 on the roster but why did they feel the need to bring a kid off the freshman team To start with all those numbers?

I'll also add that team numbers can be very misleading. The best team in the state of Georgia always has 100+ kids on the team but only plays 15 of them in every game until they are blowing someone out.

So no platooning? I would suspect they would be tested pretty good against a team that platoons. Even a

Smaller team that does. That is crazy to only play 15 kids throughout a game until it's a blowout. What team are you talking about down in Georgia?

2a Buford High School which puts out a ton of D1 talent every year and go undefeated most years.

I heard the official signup number for SK next year is 128 soph to senior. This year's number was over 100 as well but fell to around 88 by the start of the season. I look for a similar result but maybe not all the way to 88.
