Ryle should have somewhere in the neighborhood of 105 young men. 31 seniors, 23 juniors, 51 sophomores. loaded with talent for Coach Engler. Year two could be very exciting as some of the younger kids step up. Ryle will have a very strong Senior class.

According to Maxpreps.com Rylewill have 21 Juniors 22 Seniors next year. They only 65 kids listed on this years varsity roster. So are they getting a bunch of transfers?

Belfry had 63 on their roster.

7 Seniors

12 Juniors

23 Sophomore

21 Freshman

Shouldn't be a huge Freshman Class. The 8th Grade team won the Middle School State Championship but had several 7th Graders playing.

I will say Belfry will be around a 70 Man Roster. Scheduled to have 56 in Grades 10-12.. I figure you lose 3-4 to attrition and bring in around 15-16 Freshman

They return 7 Starters each way.

max preps does not have our roster correct. I got this off of:

Ryle Raider Football: 2014 Varsity Roster

Ryle Raider Football: 2014 9th Grade Roster

This is every one moving up minus this years seniors. ( unless i miss counted )

SK should have around 20 Seniors, 38 Juniors and not sure how many Sophomores they will have.

I think Ryle and SK will be the two top teams in NKY 6A.

I talked to Coach Engler at the Boyle-LexCath playoff game this year and these are the numbers he told me. He is very excited about the future of the program.

Tomorrow....tomorrow.....Ryle loves ya' Tomorrow.....you're always a season away!!

That's funny but the intention is not to be a Ryle thread. Just wanted to see the participation level at the schools since the whole concussion scare. I wanted to see if schools are gaining or declining athletes in the sport. This also can be a indicator of excitement in a community about their program. For instance compared to the overall male enrollment, Highlands, Beechwood and some other schools have a high percentage of young men participating in football. so Really save the sarcasm and bashing for next year would ya!

The Rocks will reload with the usual 100-110 man roster. There will be 65-85 freshmen as well. Trinity graduates 11 starters: 2 o-linemen, TE, QB, RB, 2 of 4 LB, 3 of 4 defensive linemen in rotation, one DB. There were 28 Class of 2015 members on squad. Trinity has two capable kickers returning. A punter may be more difficult to locate.

The only way Trinity will see the mighty Ryle Raiders is in the state championship game. :whistling:

Curious to know if trinity has to cut to get down to 110? And that is a massive amount of freshmen.

Football has remained a "no-cut" sport. If you put in the time and effort while meeting or exceeding the expectations of the staff, you earn your letter and the right to purchase a ring at the end of a championship season.
