2006-07 10th Region

Groves will have many high scoring nights and Cummins will be a nice and quick defensive presence. Also, Augusta brings back Dustin Staggs in next year's line-up.

Yes it will be nice to have Staggs for a full season next year after missing all of last year with a acl tear, Dustin "SHOOTY" Staggs should be hungry and ready to play. Also they will have a 6'5 and still growing sophmore named Chris Moford who should could be an impact in the 10th region, not to mention he looks just like Adam Morrison.

In case you didnt know Clark Augusta will not get any points from Chris Moford for looking like Morrison, however, if he played like him Augusta would like it better!

I see Mason as 2nd, or possibly 3rd, but definitely Clack County as #1

I disagree...I see GRC as #2...,Mason #1 They are the defending champs and only lost 1 player. Huge loss in Mika Turner...but Mason always reloads.

Also I can see some of these teams struggling at the beginning of the season....due to football. By mid February the cream should be rising to the top.

Its still about 8 months before the season, so I'm sure this could change dramatically by the time the season starts but who you got in your top 10.

1. Mason Co.

2. Clark Co.

3. Brossart

4. Montgomery Co.

5. Harrison Co.

6. Scott

7. Pendleton Co.

8. Augusta

9. Campbell Co.

10. Bourbon Co.

Pendleton County WILL be higher than 7th next year. Augusta might be a bit too high.

1.Mason

2.Clark

3.Brossart

Mason will actually be better next year with the young guys getting experience and will have one of the tallest starting line ups for a long time in mason county.

Thanks UREACHITEACH for that bit of info.

All a matter of opinion

Should be an interesting season.

I was told at state tournament that Pendleton would be lucky to win 10 games next year i didnt know they were loosing so much but this is from a person very high up in the pendleton program.

Pendleton County WILL be higher than 7th next year.QUOTE]

I saw their JV just one time last year and they did not have much talent on that team. So, what will Pendleton have coming back outside of Belcher that makes you think that they should be higher than 7 in the top 10?

Augusta will be higher than what most may think.

They could very well be better then what most people would think.

The reasons that I think that Pendleton County will finish higher than 7th is because of coaching, team experience, and solid players.

The coaching staff at PC has been there for 5 years now. The kids have bought in to a great system(The results explain that).

Team Experience. I don't mean players with big-game varsity experience, I mean the team as a whole. Players who will play varsity in the 06-07 season were on two teams that went a combined 57-9 the past two years. This success will lead to a solid team this year.

Solid Players. The JV team finished around .500 and they will surround themselves around a potential all-region player.

With this said, I think they will finish the season higher than .500 and higher than 7th in the region.

I'd be shocked if Pendleton didn't finish in the top 7 or 8 in the region next year....

I think they'll win the 38th.....
