Wowza. 23-2 will put a game away.

Pendleton County played very well in the 1st half. It hurt them that Antrobus had to sit out with the fouls. Ohmer also played one heck of a game finishing with an unofficial 32 points. The Cats came out a little flat to start the 2nd and Scott seized the opportunity. Key turnovers also hurt. Also, keep an eye out for Dontaie Allen of Pendleton County. He was clearly the best ATHLETE, not player but athlete, on the floor tonight. Had an impressive block on Ohmer.

Played very well. He finished with 20 points unofficially. Played good defense up top and pressured the ball well.

Thanks FatNate.

Is the 23-2 3rd quarter accurate? That's what I saw reported on Twitter.

Who looked good for the Cats?

It was 23-12 for the 3rd quarter score. Scott went on a 20-2 run to go up 54-35. Led 57-45 after 3.

I'm not sure it was accurate. I do know that the Eagles did have a 17-2 run in the 3rd quarter. Allen played well and provided key athleticism to the Cats. Hunter Lea had 10+ rebounds but fouled out in the end. Guard Tanner Pugh was 8/8 at the free throw line I believe and finished with an unofficial 12 points.

I had Ohmer with 32 pts, 5 reb, 5 assist and also 11 deflections on defense. Schneider with 22 pts. Both unofficially. Scott's defense as a whole had 24 deflections. They are going to need that to be consistent when they play against bigger teams.

Ohmer struggled behind the line tonight. Still managed 32. Once he finds his stroke again he's gonna become a defense's worst nightmare.

I agree, he only had 1 3 pointer tonight. Once he gets going and hitting from behind the arc consistently like he always had, teams better look out. It's only the 2nd game of the season. I'm sure he'll figure it out.

The one he had was from way beyond the arc. Kid has outstanding range.

Cats hit a lull for about 5 minutes in the 3rd quarter that really did them in. Cut the lead to 7 at one point and gad the ball, but a few empyu possessions sealed the deal. I was impressed with the Ohmer kid. Really tough on defense, which led to several lay ups.
