Tierney will play. I don't know about Peter I haven't heard anything. There is already a good number of catchers with Larkin and Farrell, and Sutton would probably be the 3rd option there. I don't know what other position I have seen him play besides catcher.

I've heard from a few that Luke Maile could potentially be starting at catcher by the end of the year. I find that hard to believe, though.

I don't know if anyone remembers but 2 years ago when they went to state, Curley was cruising again Trinity, until a rainstorm came though and they had to postpone the game till the next day and Curley couldn't pitch the next day, and they lost in the 9th inning by 1. That team wasn't as good as the potential they have this year.

If their pitching can keep them in games, the offense will do the rest.

agreed..their offense is gonna be tough to stop...no weak spots in the lineup

Does anyone know if Casey and Kirby Shneider still play baseball for beechwood?

Only Curley, Newman and Sawyer were amoung the hitting leaders last year,

hardly hitting al the way through the line up.

Sluscher too, but he is gone.

Besides Muth and Curley, who does Beechwood have that are good hitters? All I can think of are the Seniors who graduated last year.

Boone might not have the players but they have good coaching. Farris and Dietz will have to carry the team and they only lost addison and there short was the only players they really lost last season. I thought they did good last year with contributing as a team. St. Henry and HC is no better than Boone, they have Greime and there pitcher and good hitter Shank. Holy Cross got Busse but have no one else and i believe Busse wont contribute that much because he wont get much run support and you had them in front of Scott too along with Sk which is a big no no. Travis Smith carried that team and they lost Brandon Bickers who came to Scott which is a lose of an arm.

??? Busse won't even be HC's number one pitcher this year, but I guess Jimmy Ryan isn't worth mentioning???

I heard he is playing, and will most likely play varsity, but CCH is deep at the catcher spot and the best he might hope for is the 3rd spot and maybe even 4th option if Peter Sutton plays, but I don't really remember much about Peter, Maile may be better.

To be honest idk much about beechwood but i do know they didnt lose much from last year so all of the role playes they had should be able to step up and be better contributers offensively this year

For CCH:

I'm pretty sure Peter Sutton isn't playing...Also, regardless of being a freshman, Luke Maile has a good shot at being the starting catcher I would think. Larkin belongs in the infield, not behind the plate. Factor in Farrell pitching and Maile's talent/potential and he could be starting.

Curley-P

Moore-3rd

No, he was going to be, but they want him out in the feild either at 3rd when Curley is pitching or 2nd when Newman is pitching
