NKY Top 10 (Current)

35th will be very interesting...Beechwood and Covcath will battle for the 1-2 and depending on which Holmes team shows up, they could possibly pull an upset over Holy Cross...in that type of rivalry, anything is possible.

I think Beechwood will win hands down this year. CCH lost alot last year and all BW lost was their # 2 and #3, but adding Chas Moore who they didnt have last year. Chris Curley is going to be 100%, and returning Sawyer, Muth, and Baker. They have a lot of Sr leadership and that goes a long way.

yea i think beechwood can be scary good this year...they have one of the top pitchers in the state in curley and think about what he did last year on basically one leg...he is going to be unreal this year at 100%.

They're #1 until proven otherwise.

May 9th, marked on my calender

Who all does covcath return this year?

Farrell, Schreiver, Blazejewski, Larkin, Bleser, Stephens, McGee, Spradlin, plus others I'm probably missing.

thats a good nucleus but i dont think they'll be able to knock off the tigers...beechwood will be tough this year

Bleser vs Curley will be a heckuva matchup.

definetly...both at the plate and on the mound. does beechwood have what it takes to compete for a state title or atleast make it to applebees park?

I saw a ky top 10 and i think nky deserves one. Here is mine.

BEECHWOOD

COV CATH

RYLE

HOLY CROSS

CONNER

ST HENRY

SCOTT

SIMON KENTON

HIGHLANDS

NEW CATH

Highlands and NewCath are listed too high IMO. My list entering the year is:

Beechwood

CovCath

Ryle

Conner

Scott

Brossart

Campbell

Simon

Holy Cross

St. Henry

Farrell, Schreiver, Blazejewski, Larkin, Bleser, Stephens, McGee, Spradlin, plus others I'm probably missing.

Timmy Tierney will be playing again, right?

Is there a Sutton playing still?

Tierney will play. I don't know about Peter I haven't heard anything. There is already a good number of catchers with Larkin and Farrell, and Sutton would probably be the 3rd option there. I don't know what other position I have seen him play besides catcher.

for Cov Cath i think Larkin will play 2nd with Farrel behind the plate and when Farrel pitches Spradlin or Sutton can catch. They are lucky to have depth in catching to keep them at rest. How does there pitching look?? Will they have anyone besides Blesser and Farrel. i dont think they will be that strong on the mound

If their pitching can keep them in games, the offense will do the rest.
