Way to go RAMS !! :ylsuper:

Raceland's defense came out in the 2nd half and just put a physical beating on the opponent.

BTW - I do want to give kudos to the Fairview Kids, they came out, played hard and took it to Raceland, their coaching staff had them prepared well.

Raceland was just by far the best football team at every turn.....end of story.

I believe it is 64 lol

Was going by the Ashland / Independent stats in the pre season preview they do. On the schedule, out from the opponets name it list the series record between the two. Westwood started H.S. Football at or around 1970, not sure on exact season. Had it been in 70' then this year would make 44 years. Considering Raceland / Fview played twice in 3, maybe 4 seasons due to playoff game then subtract the two, three years that they decided not to field a team at all due to lack of numbers / lack of interest, then they played a JV schedule, didn't compete in District for a year or so when they re started the program......that total of 45 would be pretty dang close. 64 ?, Fairview didn't start until around 1970.

Now, the Westwood Boys Club had a "little league / JFL age group teams. That may have been mistaken for a H.S. because the standard comment - joke around our Greenup / Boyd Co leagues for youth football was that the WWBC was the only little league team (10-12 yr. olds) in the area that had kids with full beards. :idunno:

Always remember LR ....People have more fun that anybody and I have a ton more experience in that area, you have only heard "stories" of the infamous Raceland fans / sideline crew. :sssh: :sneaky:
