I once saw Mike Mitchell get a celebration penalty for pointing at an oncoming defender right before he crossed the goal line on a long run. Is it possible the kid did something during the run?

 

Stringer dropped the ball in the end zone, turned around to face upfield and his teammates ran to him in the end zone. That is all I saw. There was no finger pointing, taunting or anything that I saw.

Congrats to the Tigers, should be interesting to see a all cat matchup next week. I see Bw is really relying on the run game first and mixing in the pass. Stringer is one of the most impressive backs in 1A for sure, fun to watch him run. O line looks very good for the Tigers as well. Will be interesting to hear what CoachBuckett has to say this week if we can get anything other than sandbags out of him on this matchup.

I just saw some video. No taunting. He did briefly (less than a second) raise his left hand in the endzone then he dropped the ball on the ground. No ref in endzone to give ball to. It will probably show up on Maxpreps through the hudle highlight feature.

A little to boisterous with the vocal cords is what I am hearing, said something the ref didn't like and out came the laundry. From what I was told it wasn't profane language, just something the ref didn't like. Can't say this info is completely correct, just what I heard.

Stringer seems to be running with a huge amount of confidence right now, and with Studer back in the mix and Stokes getting carries at FB they will be tough to defend. Hope I am back in town this coming Friday, think it has the potential to be one heck of a game.

Just a few observations about this years Tigers team...

 

Correct about Ethan....he is always an emotional game player, and has done a great job of keeping some of those emotions in check this year. Growing up....BW needs his emotion to be positive and it has been.

 

Slusher is the MVP of this team....many talented players can claim that title each week but Slusher is consistently making plays on both sides of the ball.

 

Depth for this Tigers team is going to win them these last few games. It will be a play here...or a play there, but RB, DB, and Lineman getting a "blow" now and then will make the difference.
