He is still more successful then anybody posting on the thread. Js.

I wouldnt say more successful, I would say he is probably making way more money than any of us on here. But you can be successful at any job you do, for example Im a teaching and Ive become successful from where I started. Hes just successful in his profession. But yes, he probably is doing way better than all of us LOL

lol i was just joking , i just wanted to see some ridiculous responses.

The comments have been overblown. The comment above is also overblown. You know why construction workers do not "save their body?" They can't. Too easy to go get another cat to replace them. Plus, they can't afford the loss of pay.

It's mind-boggling to compare an everyday schmo construction worker/sales rep/CPA to a professional athlete.

The only problem is DRose should have known how fans would lose their minds and spend ZERO time thinking about what he said.

I watched the interview, read the interview, and thought a lot about it. If were a Chicago fan I would be disappointed. The dude has signed for a lot of money. We are not talking traumatic brain trauma here a la football. Nobody wants to spend the rest of their life in pain or discomfort, but that is also the price you pay (earn is a better way of saying it) when you choose to be an NBA player. If it as bad as he conveys, then get out.

Big deal. There isn't a thread about me talking about how soft I am either.

id be soft to making 17.63 million a year :dancingpa

Can someone cite an example of him being soft?

Can someone cite an example of him being soft?

IMO he's soft mentally. He's fraile physically.

IMO he's soft mentally. He's fraile physically.

Examples, please.

I'm a big Bulls fan but honestly if something happens that he gets hurt again and out for the season then the Bulls just need to get rid of him. I'm about to the point of "just go ahead and get rid of him" now

Examples, please.

Could have came back two seasons ago in the March timeframe. Was worried about re-injuring himself in a game and never came back that season despite practicing fully with the team beginning in March.

Could have came back last season when is knee injury wasn't as serious as it was the year before.

Makes these comments about sitting out of games to perserve his long term health. For me, that's weak. Professional athletes have proven time and time again that recovery time tables can be defeated if they want to. Recovering from an injury can be just as much mental as it is physical. Some guys have it mentally....Wes Welker, Kobe Bryant, Adrian Peterson to name a few. His teammate Joakim Noah plays hurt all of the time. You'll never convince me that DRose has it in his brain mentally to overcome an injury and his comments about his long term health prove that to me.

From my understanding a lot are fed up with him and would not shed a tear if he leaves.

Examples, please.

18 months to rehab his knee is 2x the average.
