Jim Hicks to Fleming??

I hope that all the boys in the well known venues where Ashland partisans gather to meet, work, and play appreciate your blind faith and unquestioning support, GIAT. You really are a special fan.

They do. :thumb:

Greenbo Lake is the dead sea! Used to be a great bluegill lake until they brought in the grass carp and destroyed all the cover. Has to be better fishing holes in Fleming Co.

"Run and Gun"??? Maybe if you mean changing jobs!! If you mean on the court, he tried that style for about a season and then reveryted back to Randy Ward ball!

And once again Ward ball and Greenup Co. won the 63rd district tournament. And no one at Raceland should complain about low scoring games won by defense.

I think Kelly Crain would make a good head coach and Brad Sorrell can be her assistant

Thats fine. Bring it on. You can say what you want about RH being 5-1 in regional tournament play, but thats like saying the a kid who shot 3-3 from the free throw line in a season is the best free throw shooter in the state, compared to someone that was 100 for 115 during a season. Lets get this thread back on topic.

Great point GIAT!:ylsuper:

I understand that you impressed gopack21. No surprise there. However, you picked up on the afterthought and not the premise of my post. The premise dealt with the dominance of Clark County while it was a part of the region. If we include all 16th Region history, I would conclude that the Cardinals can claim the "tradition". All in all, it just indicates that "tradition" is for those who need it, don't you think?

I still would like for Hicks to stay in the region. Fleming County would be fine. Of course, it would also be nice to see Wayne Breeden back in the region.

Hicks will be better than who they might give it to. Trust me Fleming could do worse

Ive got a pretty good feeeling that Breeden will be back in the 16th this year.

GIAT, I hope you are correct. Often, your "feelings" are based on inside information. Hopefully, that is the case in this matter. Wayne Breeden is a fine coach and would bring a much -needed spark to the region.

:flame: She would have to be the brains for the team!

I agree with that statement

Fleming should give Justin Moore a chance at the job. He has really done a good job with the jv boys. He done an outstanding job coaching the boys during the district tourney.
