If they win it, they bring the title back to NKY, or do they leave it there? ;)

Back would be next year. But first things first. They need to work on this year and bring the title to NKY.

Let's try this one more time..........if they win they bring a title to NKY, thus they are bringing it (back with them) to NKY.

Next year would be back-to-back... if they win it this year.

I am afraid you are missing the boat on this one...

Another note... this game was a lot more enjoyable to watch because both sides of parents weren't completely annoying/weren't constantly complaining. Officiating was alright... missed calls on both sides, but nothing that would have impacted the game. Refs set the tone quick not allowing a lot of contact, but they let a little more go as the game progressed.

They just have been quieter near you because I could hear them on the live stream!

Lawnboy, I get what you're saying. I do believe after a team wins they are allowed to bring the trophy with them when they go "back" home at the end of the night. Just having some fun.

I listened and didn't hear much but cheering.

South Oldham was legit. They controlled the majority of the game and had Scott chasing a lot. To the point where the last 10 minutes of the game they were huffing and puffing. Morgan and Haggerty could never keep up with their middle, especially #10 Christian who did work in the center. It wasn't until Christian got into the box that he would be swarmed.

Scott only had one legit opportunity in the game in the first half when Schneider beat the defender in the box, shot with his left foot, and barely missed the goal. Sure they had a couple scuffles in the box that could had led to something, but not much. As I mentioned in another post, SO's defense is very well organized, didn't let the boys get loose up top, and defended Treadway well. SO decided to make stupid fouls at the top of the box that led to their demise. Treadway took all 3, burying his third one. Still not sure what happened. Had to have some serious movement on the ball because the keeper went right then had to adjust to go left and not enough of a hand on it. After Treadway shanked his first 2 I was shocked Morgan didn't step in. He can really whip a ball in and the wind would have only aided his shot.

To set the record straight on Treadway this, Treadway that... CJ won that game. He came up big! SO had 3-4 LEGIT opportunities that CJ made GREAT saves on. That game could have been 3 or 4 to 1... easy.

In the end, SO couldn't capitalize on their opportunities and possession doesn't win games.

This was about the same summary for the Dunbar/BG game... Dunbar being the South Oldham of the game. Out possessed, missed opportunities, and overall the better team. Should be an interesting match up. BG's defense is goooooood. Treadway and Schneider are going to have a tough time breaking them down. BG plays a similar style like Scott so might play like a tennis match.

to answer that question....."Me and Devin looked at the wall, and looked at the goalie, and he told me to take the shot," Treadway said. "He believed in me. I took it, it found the net and it was amazing for us. (The wall) was set a little bit to the right and I normally shoot to the left on free kicks. It was kind of my spot and I was able to finish it."

Obviously you haven't much soccer in northern kentucky if you think Treadway is the best. In the past you have had great players like josh coldiron, Chris froschauer, Jeff. Hughes, Matt Moffitt, and many more that had great players, who all went to division one schools, who all were solid players, and even more important class individuals on the field

Hopefully, you weren't the example for them to follow. But you have certainly shown to be ill informed and appear to be the very example of the type of person you preach against. Quiet and impression out of the gate on this website. Join to attack in individual or school because of jealousy? Just what this site needs. Another attacker become I'm anonymous and think I know it all. geeesh

Your name says it all wannabe. You want to know what's wrong with this post it's you and your lack of claas and your inability to not enjoy the game today. I'm sure those greats you mentioned would be ashamed of you. Do us all favor and just keep your poor attitude and behavior to your self.

First off your facts are wrong which doesn't surprise me based on your statement. Josh Coldiron was an excellent player but he went to Eckerd College and Eckerd is a D2 school. I spent a lot of games cheering beside his dad and I can tell you he would have appreciated Treadway's ability and would have never bashed Scott High School for the way they've played to game.
