I agree, but they want people to bet. In terms of gains or losses for Vegas a 6 point win is no different that a 50 point win, since the line is at 3. Apparently they needed to drop the line to get people to bet. Like you said, I expect it to be about a 7 point game throughout, however I expect MSU will tack on a late touchdown to win by 14.
