November 5, 201411 yr IMO If the deal went down and gave LA THJ I would be ashamed. That kid is young and works wonders for NY. If at all possible the Knicks make a title run with Kobe steaming along the Triangle Offense this year if at all, but they will miss him down the road. It might have been worth it a few years back, but Kobe is old and is not worth the young, high potential youngins. Melo would have a hard time giving away some of his spotlight after the huge summer deal.

November 6, 201411 yr Author Max Kellerman is convinced Kobe is using the media(underground whisper network) to get this thought out there because public pressure to improve the Lakers is the only way Kobe can leave and save face. Kobe has a no trade clause and would have to approve any trade so it'll be hard for him to save face in a lot of people's eyes. IMO he's in a can't win situation. I hope the trade happens for the chaos!!!! Please basketball gods...make this happen.

November 6, 201411 yr It's nice for a know-it-all to be put in their place every once in a while. Even better when it's a guy who knows basketball just as much, if not more, than anyone on the planet.
