Carson Palmer

Personally I wish he hadn't gotten fed up with the organization. Just think what he could have done with the talent on offense the Bengals have.
I can't blame him though. The offensive line was in shambles. His OC was in shambles and he wanted to have a chance to win. Don't think he was a fan of ML either.

It all has to do with Marvin Lewis IMO. I recall it very well how excited Palmer was at the end of that season playing with receivers such as Jerome Simpson. He even told Simpson to be ready for the next year because they were going to do big things together the day after the season ended. However at that time most people probably believed Lewis was going to be fired, and Palmer probably thought the same. So once the Bengals hired Marvin back, it probably was not a coincidence that a week later Palmer says he wants traded. Which is a real shame because I do believe we would have still been to the playoffs the last 4 years with him, and who knows maybe even would have won one. Palmer basically has only played in one playoff game ever, so IMO he is only 0 and 1.

Only been two games. Give it time and Carson will be the same player we all remember.

His stats last year before he got hurt and his stats this year say differently. Dude can play still.

Give it time and Carson can be the QB we all remember? Are you giving him a compliment? I believe I heard a stat he was in the top 5 all time for most touchdowns thrown in his first 5 years. He led the Bengals to the first playoff game in 14 years in 2005. He did everything he could to get them there in 2006 but special teams didn't allow that. 2007 he still put up good stats, 2008 he hurt his arm. Now his last two years in Cincy he didn't do great. However even in 2009 they made the playoffs and he led multiple game winning drives at the end of games to make the playoffs that year. 2010 was just flat out bad and so was here Oakland years. However since he has been in Arizona, they have went 10 and 6. They then were undefeated last year at 6 and 0 I believe before he got hurt, and now this year doing it again. He is 15 and 2 in his last 17 games with 34 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. 2010 was his only year really when he sucked and the team sucked, and then his Oakland years was just bad. However like it or not Carson Palmer is a lot better QB than people gave him credit for during his last few years here.
