I like Coach Deaton and have a lot of respect for him. I met him but once, but he was very cordial. I have never heard anything negative about him and believe that the Colonels got a good one!

Rome wasn't built in a day and Whitley County won't turn around into a contender overnight. I will say this much though. Corbin and South better look out cause Deaton is the man that can and will get the Colonel nation on the same page and turned around. The Hounds and Cards better start preparing harder and harder and use this as motivation. Yes Corbin and South have the talent advantages but Whitley has the coaching advantage now.

I would agree with that statement. The new 50th district will have some wars on the horizen with all the talented players and Coaches working to beat each other up....should make for some great games for us fans.

Coach Anderson is going to work for the state and won't be paid by whitley county and should help Coach Deaton.

I know Coach Farris & Coach Deaton are good freinds, but I do not think Coach Farris will go to Whitley.

Why the harsh words Thunderstruck, maybe, he is trying to promote a program that is clearly at it's lowest point in years. Mt. Mutt needs to be commended, because he has hope about the program and has high expectations, I know that might be scary to program. I can not talk that much though, I believe that my skins will go through a rough spell next year.
