December 3, 201411 yr Guess you didn't listen to the Stoops call in show tonight.............QB1 position will be wide open. No, actually. Surprisingly enough I did not listen to the Stoops call in show. I'm going off of what I've seen, not what Stoops says. PT can lose his job to DB and I would not be surprised.
December 3, 201411 yr From what Towles showed in the latter portion of the SEC schedule, no he doesn't look like a pro QB and may lose his starting job to a redshirt freshman next season.
December 3, 201411 yr I think PT struggled against the top notch SEC foes late in the year but he also showed he can compete with the best as well. Neal Brown clearly used him in the running game way too much. He is a pocket passer and didnt have much time to scan and throw. He certainly didnt do himself any favors those last few games to secure the spot for next season. As a huge PT fan I want to see him do well but i am also a UK fan and I want the best QB in there helping them win games. As far as the NFL, I certainly hope he isnt even entertaining those thoughts and will work just as hard in the offseason to get better. Neal Brown is a donkey, his offensive play calling was asonine. Good riddance.
