Final.

Danville wins the district.

Congrats to the Ads.

Sounded like an instant classic per the update thread.

Nice try but Henry Clay and Bryan Station outdid you..

Wittman carried it 41 times for 337 yards and 6 TDs (unofficially). Also caught a pass for 49 yards and a TD. Had over 400 yards of total offense

It was a pretty crazy game with neither team's defense stopping each other. Came down to a battle between LCA's Wittman, who scored 7 TD's, versus Danville's Dampier, who threw for 449 yards and shredded LCA's pass defense.

Wittman caught a TD on a 4th and 11 with a little more than 2 minutes left to play, but Danville then drove about 65-70 yards down the field and kicked a FG with 11 seconds left to win.

Quite the roller coaster of a game and probably Danville's best win in ages in terms of significance and what it means for the future of the program (since Dampier is only a sophomore). Not too bad for Clevenger to coach the team to the district title in his second year either.

Dampier was 23-37 for 449 yards and 4 TDs

I can't even remember the last time a Danville QB threw for 400+ yards.

That missed extra point at the end of the game....

One of Danville's receivers had 240 receiving yards too. Didn't catch the name

How does Danville's kicker spell his name?

Cory or Corey?

Roster per the Scoreboard says Corey.
