Jimbo looks like he has "dead eyes". I actually feel bad for the guy in a lot of ways.

I totally agree with him. Why should his reputation take a hit? What's he supposed to do? You HAVE TO back your players as a head coach unless there is some proof against him. I'm sure Winston sees that his coach has his back--as does the rest of the locker room. Jimbo is in a tough spot but he has no choice here.

Any head coach in the nation who says they would do anything differently than what Jimbo is doing is lying.

I can see where Fisher is fed up with all the questions and yes, other coaches "that let all this go on" would probably have done the same thing. What I said on an earlier thread was enough was enough a couple of Winston screw ups / allegations ago. Jimbo Fisher gets those questions bc he has been an enabler, not a disciplinarian. Fisher, in some ways has allowed practically all of Winston's crap to go on by doing absolutely nothing until he was basically forced to when FSU Admin put the "unbelievably strict " 1/2 game suspension on the poor innocent lil Jamis. Fisher really got tough and extended it...to a whole 1 game with adding the 2nd half. :scared: . That will show em;. :lol2:

Winston will continue to do whatever he wants - whenever he wants - to whoever he wants bc Winston knows he can.

I am sick of the entire "Jimbo & Jamis show".

Mark Richt is definitely playing it different than Jimbo. Now, maybe that's because he hasn't had to pull through with a win in a top 5 matchup, but so far, I think it's safe to say that Richt has played it more admirably than Jimbo. I'm sure that Georgia could come up with plenty of bullpoo excuses that insult the intelligence of the average sports fan in defense of a violation of a rule that most sports fans are already divided about as is, but at the same time, Jimbo needs to realize that the people who are piling on the pressure for him to play Winston aren't going to be the same ones who fall as hard as he does if this whole thing unravels.

You guys don't know what Jimbo knows or what he has been told. As far as he knows, Winston has done nothing illegal, has not been charged with anything, and has not been suspended. All he knows is what Winston tells him and what his administration tells him. I don't know what Winston has done (neither does anyone else), I'm just saying that from a coaching standing point he absolutely has to support him 100%. Richt might be in a completely different situation.

How does Mark Richt's situation compare to Jimbo's? In Georgia they know have have hardcore proof that Todd Gurley got paid for his autographs. When Gurley was setup the dealer made sure he got Gurley. When Winston(and many other college football players) did their autograph signings nobody videotaped it or if they did that proof hasn't come out yet. As Jimbo stated......"if the facts change then so will the punishment." Right now there aren't any facts or proof anywhere that Winston violated any rules or any laws other than shoplifting some crab legs.

You don't suspend your star player over speculation and what looks fishy. You suspend him over facts and in all instances when FACTS showed that Winston was in the wrong he suffered the consequences.

Keep trying though, Joker. I'll be here all day.

I thought I read that Gurley admitted it to Richt as well. Anyone that thinks Richt is sitting Gurley to be honorable is delusional. If there wasn't hard evidence against him he would be playing.

And I wouldn't blame Mark Richt one bit.

Everybody just LOVES to hate on Jameis! Yes he's an idiot off the field BUT he wins every game (up to this point). Gurley was busted, Richt had no choice but to suspend him. But because everybody wants to see Famous Jameis fail and get in trouble, then anything that can give the media, or his haters, something to complain about, they will. Until next time folks! See you in Louisville Jameis!

It's also much easier to replace a RB than a QB. I really don't like Jameis and think it will bear out that he is a bad guy but every coach in America would handle it pretty much as Fisher has.

Every time Jimbo opens his mouth he makes himself look worse and worse.

Guys doing with integrity and class both on and off the field? Really Jimbo?

Winston's done nothing wrong? Really? Dude is in a terrible position, but you don't have to make yourself look like an idiot every time you open your mouth.

innocent until proven guilty.

What should he say? He has to address the media at some point.
