sidelinedoc, I was looking at Russell freshman schedule for 2014 and saw Raceland was on the schedule now for 10/23,is that correct?

I believe so. I am pretty sure Mike and TJ both told me this is correct.

Nothing like a butt whoopin' on that school in west Ashland.

 

The Raceland / wlgc radio crew again commented / praised the fans - RAM Nation for their support and Every Raceland game.

I also thought that it was telling that they also were talking about how that other team's fans started filing out in the late 2nd Quarter / halftime :lol2: and by the 4th quarter their stands were empty, just a scant few left. Pretty easy to see who the "fair weather" fans are.

BTW - On a serious note - I hope that the Fairview QB is o.k., that the injury he had won't keep him out of any more of their games. I know that I get on here (probably too much) but I can get serious, I hate seeing Any kid on Any team being injured. My prayers for the Eagle qb, kid is a very, very good player and I hope that he is back in playing next week.

Congratulations to Raceland, they left no doubt that they were the better team, are a better program. I hate to see the hometown Westwood kids lose, especially this bad and to the rival. i do have to say that for the school administration and staff along with any of the coaches that were here and took part in that embarrassment / cheating that has been Eagle football in the past several years - those individuals deserve it. Greed of some has made the entire Westwood community look bad, I hope that people outside of Westwood know that there are some good people here.

Don't know but I feel safe in saying it wasn't close to as many as usual. Roy and the that school's receivers ran into Raceland's "no passing zone", or my other nickname for them "The Orange dome" / missle defense system.

Congrats to the Rams. I enjoy seeing Fairview take a beating on the scoreboard. Hope both teams had injury-free games.

We know there are good people in Westwood , but part of the fun of a rival is talking a little trash. Most of us on here are mature enough to give/take a little jabbing. Good luck the rest if the season. I hope Roy's knee ends up being a minor thing.
