October 14, 201411 yr I got a couple of updates that the Bengals signed former Browns WR Greg Little. Anyone? And good signing or not?
October 14, 201411 yr Author Greg Little signed by Cincinnati Bengals - Cincy Jungle A second-round pick in 2011, Little played in every game for three seasons with the Browns. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound receiver out of North Carolina started 12 as a rookie, 16 in 2012, and 13 in 2013. Dropped passes were his demise, and Pro Football Focus had Little dropping eight passes while catching 41 passes a year ago. Looking all all of the free agents receivers out there, Little was probably the best option for Cincinnati. He has plenty of experience playing in the AFC North, and the Bengals still have five divisional games left on their schedule.

October 14, 201411 yr Author Is he going to stop the run as well? We signed a LB last week and I think we are going to kick some more tires. I just wish the Bengals would admit they gaffed the DT thing earlier this year and shop around. I think DT is such a big need we may need to consider a trade.

Unless it is a team like Oakland and Jacksonville who have just given up on this season and next and need to stockpile draft picks?

October 14, 201411 yr It's just too difficult to trade in the NFL. I've heard of Little, but have no idea if he'll contribute or not. It seems like he's athletic enough, at least. I'm assuming this signing is in light of the news regarding Marvin Jones' injury. Doesn't sound too promising for MJ.

If so, it is a good pick up for the Bengals.

Fortt was acquired on waivers from New Orleans on Oct. 7 and was inactive for last week’s Bengals game vs. Carolina. On the practice squad, Cincinnati signed WR Cobi Hamilton and cut WR Colin Lockett. Hamilton (6-2, 197; Arkansas) is a first-year NFL player. A sixth-round Cincinnati draft choice in 2013, he spent last season on the Bengals practice squad. He played in all four Bengals 2014 preseason games, with eight receptions for 127 yards and one TD. He was waived by the Bengals on Aug. 30, signed to the Philadelphia practice squad on Sept. 10 and released from the Eagles practice squad on Oct. 6. As for Lockett, he entered the NFL with the Bengals as a college free agent last May.
