With the re-alignment for the 2015-2018 season and with Boyle Co. and Lex Cath leaving that district/ class... Coach Dudley just might stay in Taylor Co. Just look at the district that they will compete in... Class 4A district 5 ( East Jessamine, West Jessamine, Mercer Co. and Marion Co. ). All winnable for Taylor Co and coach Dudley. I would stay if I was him and pile me a bunch of district championship.

Injuries decimated a team headed upwards. If they can stay healthy next season they'll be one of the top teams in the district.

Dudley Hilton is a hall of fame coach but the program is the worst of the bunch historically. If he does stick around and they do win next year good for him, but what have you won really unless you take it on into a regional championship?

If Taylor wins the next 3 to finish 5-5 the highest ranked team they have beaten is #7143. Making the 0-46 vs top 7000.

As for the stats NOBODY is in denial of the fact that Taylor Co. has sucked I think everyone knows that. The point is that Taylor Co. can be turned around IF Dudley decides to stay they can turn into a good program. And with Boyle and Catholic leaving only helps them as the 2 dominate teams in that district are leaving.

Compare there strength of schedule. I looked at the total win/loss record of every team on there schedule. Very interesting it explains a lot.

Taylor=26-24

Marion=16-33(11 of these are Boyle and lex cath they should be ashamed)

Mercer=34-16 ( could be why they are 1-6)

Boyle=26-25(ho hum)

Lex cath=31-27(I thought they had a tough schedule. Guess not)

Highlands=17-27 ( they should be ashamed)

Simon Kenton=21-33(probably why they are undefeated)

Bryan sta=28-25(I thought there schedule was tougher)

There is a poster on this board who has called Taylor Co "one of the best jobs in Central Kentucky" and " a sleeping giant". I'm just pointing out with facts that those 2 statements are ridiculous.

BTW Taylor has 16 Seniors, which is a huge number at a school with that size roster year after year. Dudley is a Hall of Fame coach but he can't suit up and play next year. If he does send me some video that would be awesome!
