Literally the only way for this race to even be close is for McConnell to shoot himself in the foot down the stretch. I don't know yet if this interview will be the start of that, but it doesn't sound good.

Matt Jones says he is getting calls from national outlets after hearing about this interview. I haven't checked it out yet so I have no idea how it went.

I'm three minutes in and I can't believe it.

I agree but someone on the staff has to tell him who Jones is and not to indulge it when he gets ridiculous. It's like seeing these guys on Stephen Colbert's show... someone can tell you who he is and what he does so that you don't come off like a buffoon.

When he gets settled in, there's some decent substance in this interview. I wish the senator hadn't started by jumping all over Jones and basically yelling at him.

There ought to be a law against candidates going on sports talk shows. Man, we can't escape them anywhere!

Fair enough, but then when McConnell did finally come on, according to them it appears McConnell's people called in at the last possible minute with no warning or time for the KSR guys to prepare.

Once he settled down, Mitch did ok. Not much love for Mr. Jones, that's for sure! LOL
