While I like Tyler Perry, I thought he was an awful choice for the lawyer. And Doogie Howser was a poor casting choice too IMO.

The lady playing Affleck's sister was good, as was the lead female detective. And I thought Affleck did pretty well too.

Agree with everything except Affleck. Hard to believe this type of movie was number 1 at box office 2 weeks in a row, which I am glad about. Usually only super hero and kid movies achieve that.

Just hasn't been anything good at the movies lately. Good but not great is how I would rate this. But way better than the rest of the movies now.

Actually liked this more than I thought I would. Between what I've heard on here and from others, I won't read the book. Rosemund Pike was amazing. If you're in to the psychological thing, I recommend watching.

Real late to the game on this one, but finally watched it last night.

I thought for sure that she was alive and Affleck was in on the whole thing as a ploy to get Neil Patrick Harris' money. He made some comment about "I guess she was the better writer" which resonated with me. Made me think that he was actually the better writer and made the whole thing up with her to get his money somehow.

What a manipulative woman lol. I enjoyed this one.
