And no, it's not because I hate SK, their players or their fans, it's because my wife is a Camel. (and believe me, buying clothes to hide the hump is tough)

After hearing so much about the huge D1 O line of SK. It seemed to me the speed of Ryle D Line was simply better. Right side of the SK line seemed to have problems. Chalk it up to a off night or Ryle was onto something there. I haven't seen Campbell play but Ryle may have found a chink in the armor. This should be a great game. SK 30 CC 21. Good to see SK pressed and finding ways to win. Should help come playoffs.

Campbell 17 Cooper 7, Campbell 30 NCC 17. With those results , I find it difficult to believe the Camels will be competitive in this game. SK defense was on the field a lot in the 1st half against Ryle as the young QB Racke struggled to make his reads. He will not have that problem this week. The "Big and Slow" SK DL will be in the Camels backfield all night. 38 - 14 SK

 

I absolutely hate comparing how 2 teams did against a similar opponent. I mean people wanted to say the freshman SK team beat CC freshman pretty good so that meant SK should beat Highlands which did not happen. Some teams after getting big leads start working on things or they get their younger kids in.

IMO Camels control the clock with the ground game. 4 yards and a cloud of dust. Camels defense is the true strength of the team. If they can pressure the yound SK QB this could be a long night for SK. I call a close game. 12-10 Camels.

Camels win by getting to Racke and stuffing Powell in a grind out physical game. 21-17.

IMO the Camel O line will be able to match the SK D line. Very experienced and good size as well. Keeping true with the Camel history the QB and the RBs are very hard nose, physical runners.

 

If (and that's a big word) the Camels control the ball and limit the turnovers they come away with the win. Turnovers were a big culprit in last years losses but I'm sure Coach has been working on that.

I agree with this. I think it's yet to be determined that SK is bigger and more physical. Also, big and physical doesn't always win. Speed and technique go a long way in the trenches!
