Austin Hill of Cov. Holmes..

Featured Replies

havent seen him officiate too much...i dont think he does many holmes games for the simple fact that he coached almost all of those boys sometime or another during their careers.

I think he did a Holmes-CCH job two years ago, if i remember correctly. Regardless he does an excellent job, especially with handling disgruntled players, as he has been coaching teens for years. Also don't forget that Kurt Bovard of CovCath played with the Tar Heels for years under Pouncey. Imagine how nasty that team would be...

If you was to put TJ and BO with Duran, Austin, and Arrez, that team would win a state championship...Tj and Bo would bring the team mentality to this group. Dj would drive and kick to Tj or Bovard all day for wide open threes, austin would simply be a man down low against anyone, and Arrez, well arrez is just arrez, he'd do it all to help out the team.

 might be a good pickup team down at Randolph park but once you get downstate you need a big man present in the paint....check South Laurel..among others. There is NO WAY you could take those guys down to Rupp and win 1 game.

I don't know about all that now.....

I wouldnt say he is one of the best ... yet. I saw him officiate a game and there were some questionable calls but he keeps his composure and never lets the coaches or players get to him. He has the potential to be a very good referee though. Its a thankless job....always remember.

A little early to call him one of the best, but I've seen several games he's done; and he does a good job. Hustles, but most of all, keeps control of the game and talks to the kids or coach to explain himself when necessary.(Probably due to his coaching experience) Surprizingly perhaps (due to his past), he seems to keep a game under control better than most!!

you have to be kidding me right? Check villanova...when you have that many talented guards with decent size, its tough for those big guys that you supposedly need to keep up...and anyone on this "all star" team can rebound with the best big men...just look at what arrez henderson did against nch, swatting 3 or 4 bill walker shots as well as austin hill...austin will be an absolute MAN among boys next year
