September 14, 201412 yr I didn't see any of the first half until the last series. But from what I read here and followed on Twitter it was horrendous after the first series. I watched the second half and it wasn't the worst I've seen Louisville ever play, but that is skewed because I thought the Defense played really well. Offensively, there is MUCH room for improvement. I do feel it will. As much as I would like to see Reggie start, I'm not sure one series in a game shows us that he is the go to guy. Today is another day, and there's another game to prepare for. Go Cards!
September 14, 201412 yr Which Louisville fans said they expected a seamless transition, or predicted 9-3 or better for a record? Weren't you predicting offensive fireworks under Bobby this year? Some on here did and it's ridiculous. They'll have some games where the o looks real good but not consistently. Don't know about the rec
September 15, 201412 yr Louisville established itself as a lower tier ACC team pretty quickly, IMHO. Worse yet was the awful ACC studio show that popped up at halftime, post game, and every so often during the broadcast. Those guys were pitiful.
September 15, 201412 yr Weren't you predicting offensive fireworks under Bobby this year? Some on here did and it's ridiculous. They'll have some games where the o looks real good but not consistently. Don't know about the rec Pretty sure you are just making things up... You need to go check out this thread and tell me where anybody predicted "offensive fireworks," or anything better than 9-3... http://bluegrasspreps.com/college-football/predict-louisvilles-record-278562.html As for general thoughts about Petrino's teams, yes, we do expect the offense to be better than it was under Strong. That line of thinking seems obvious to me, as Petrino is an offensive guy and Strong was defensive. I'm sure there have been comments made about looking forward to more offense, but I'm not sure how that translates us into expecting them to happen right away.
September 15, 201412 yr I've watched them all, and in Petrino's offense I think Bonnafon is the QB that will have more success. Should be an interesting next couple of weeks.
