Corbin wins again with a good win over Danville.

 

Hearing Kobi Turner of Danville suffered a dislocated ankle.

Official word from radio crew was dislocated ankle. They also said Ford should be back for Green County

Danville played with a lot of heart, especially in the 4th quarter. Corbin's Harley Lambert was a dominant force defensively, and the Ad's seemed to run away from him as much as possible in the second half, which also seemed to make their offense much more effective.

For whatever reason, they never did bring an ambulance on the field. Turner was taken away in an SUV:

It's anchoring without a rope would be my guess. Honestly, I had no idea this was a different one.

I'm told that Jakobi Turner also has a fractured femur and will have to have pins in his leg. Terrible injury.

Tough injury for this young guy. Ads played very hard. The last 3 weeks have been brutal competition. Garrard was much better than expected, Boyle is Boyle, and Corbin is very good. All 3 games were very physical and draining. Good time for an off week. Things should get a little more managable from a numbers standpoint from here on out.

Quality win.

 

Danville is in that 7-10 range of 2A and I would consider to be about a PUSH with Middlesboro.

 

To win on the road at Danville is a good win..but a Top 5 3A team should be able to win on the road versuses a 7-10 2A team.

 

Truth be told Corbin probably needed to win by a couple scores to justify their ranking, but you have to give the Hounds a slight edge right now over Bell after the two teams played essentially identical games...one lost and the other won.

Danville is better than I thought they would be this season and they are also battling the injury bug something crazy as well. At the very least this is a quality win for Corbin.
