I believe Conley ran it in from around the 5 yard line, I could be wrong though, I was standing in the opposite endzone and at that time it was hard to hear the PA.

It won't take long. If things continue the way they are Ashland will lose 5-6 games this year. If that happens, a lot of people will be unhappy

Russell had the first possession of ot, went for two and converted. Ashland scored on their possession but fumbled on the conversion attempt.

It was 21 all after regulation then Russell scored and it made it 27 and then Russell went for two and got it. Ashland scored and didn't convert on their 2 point conversion.

From the half I was able to see it was. I believe Ashland can be much better than they have played thus far this season, but Russell has a lot of talent and is well coached.

 

I'm not sure if I can handle another Ashland game this season. They are a few points either way of being 0-3 or 3-0. Of course Ironton is up next, a lot of work to do for the Tomcats.

Big win by Russell. I'm not sure about either one of these teams. Russell is supposed to be in a transition period, they had a rough one against Greenup and got thrashed on by Ironton. Ashland was supposed to have some sort of unstoppable two headed monster with the combo of Baker and Long. Is Russell better? Is Ashland worse?

Jake didn't play. He was injured early and was out almost the entire game. He left to get xrays and returned on crutches.

Yep. His foot was twisted by another kid while he was in the pile. He's on crutches. Its not broken but we don't know how long til he will be released. Hopefully its nothing serious and it'll get better with rest and ice.
