:lol2: There are more friends and family that have my handiwork - or at least consulting help - in their houses than I like to think of sometimes.

But seriously, whenever you're looking to do your driveway, I'll gladly come over and give you what advice I can so long as you can work around my schedule of visits up to NKY while I'm down here in Louisville for the next few years.

Yes Mrs. Roth' date=' MentschTrachtGottLacht recommended you.[/quote']LOL
....

Call Jerry Roth (female) at Janell Concrete. She is one of the owners, very nice, and tell her I told you to call her.

As far as I know, Janell only sells concrete equipment. We you suggesting calling there for some referrals, I guess?

They do jobs as well; at least they used to.

Reminds me of the scene where Fast Eddie is showing Vincent the ropes only the old pool hall was a laundry mat or some factory. At lease they used to play pool there. :D

:thumb: I hear you. I have a brother in law like that. Poor guy never gets a break. I'm lucky enough to be so unskilled that no one ever calls me for help. Except at tax time and then they don't want to hear what I have to say.

I've never known them to do jobs....but then again, I've never asked them to, so you may well be correct.

I know of one large job that they themselves did the concrete on, but again, to be fair, that was a few years ago. Either way, Jerry can certainly help Clyde either with them, or one of their contacts.

Question.......countless times I've come across contractors in the finishing stage of pouring a slab and I see them spraying what smells like gasoline once they have completed the finishing. So is it gasoline they are spraying and what is it's purpose?

Thanks.

I say we have a "BGP get together" at Cylde's pad and we do the job ourselves.

That's the cure and seal. I don't think there's anyone on the planet could really tell you exactly what all is in that stuff, but man does it have a strong smell to it.

Spraying it on with one of these guys, right?
